UPDATE: Aviva is Moving to a New Home

Aviva’s New Home – Update
Earlier this year we shared the exciting news that Aviva would be moving to a new home. We are now delighted to confirm that we expect to be operating from our new premises in November, located in the northeast of central Christchurch.
This move is driven by our commitment to deliver support in a way that is safe, dignified and responsive to the people we serve. With the lease on our new premises now confirmed, the building is being fully refurbished and customised to meet the needs of our whai ora and kaimahi. This includes creating welcoming new meeting spaces, accessible facilities, and a space designed specifically to support both our current services and future growth.
Although there were some consenting delays along the way, the main reason for the longer move-in timeframe has been to ensure the new premises are truly fit for purpose. We are confident the extra time and care taken now will benefit the people we serve for many years to come.
In the meantime, all of Aviva’s services are still running as usual. If you need support, we’re still available on 0800 28 48 26, or here on our website or through the usual email addresses. Visit our contact page for full details.
We look forward to welcoming you into our new home later this year, and we’ll keep you updated as the move gets closer.
June 2025
Aviva is leaving The Loft at Eastgate on 30 June 2025 and are preparing to move to a new location.
With our services growing, and team nearly doubling over the past nine years, it’s time for a new space that fits the future of our mahi. Our new premises have been confirmed, and we’re currently refurbishing the space to create a safe, welcoming environment for our whai ora.
We expect to move into the new premises in late September and will share more details closer to the time.
In the meantime, all Aviva services continue to operate as usual during this transition period.
We’re still available on 0800 28 48 26, here on our website or through the usual email addresses. See our contact page.
We’re incredibly grateful to The Loft and its partner agencies for their collaboration and support over the past nine years. We will still be working with The Loft to support those impacted by family or sexual violence who walk through their door and our kaimahi will continue to use Loft spaces to meet with whai ora.
This move marks a new chapter for Aviva – one that will allow us to better support our community, grow and evolve our services, and continue creating spaces of safety, healing and hope. We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home soon!
