Sexual Violence Kaimahi - Maternity Cover

We are looking for a Sexual Violence Kaimahi to join our supportive team. 

In this role you will provide professional, timely and safe clinical and social work support to clients of any gender, over 18 years old, who seek support from our service. 

This will include liaising with the other agencies that also work with our clients to ensure that support is gained in a timely, co-ordinated, and consistent manner.

This is a 32–40-hour role between Monday and Friday. There is also an optional after hours roster you can be a part of if you wish. This is a fixed term maternity role until December 2025. 

To be successful in this role you will be a natural problem solver, you will be resilient and calm under pressure. You will also have:

Relevant Social Work Qualification and/or experience
Current professional membership of an approved professional body e.g., ANZASW, NZAC, NAPSS
Experience working with people affected by sexual violence.
Current full driver’s license
A knowledge of working with multiple communities including but not limited to Māori, Pasifika, LGBTQIA2S+, Disabled will be an advantage.
