Volunteers Needed for our Annual Street Appeal

We are looking for volunteer street collectors for our rescheduled Street Appeal on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September 2020. The funds will support our communities to overcome violence and the enduring effects of COVID-19 and lockdown.

 

Volunteers will be provided with a vest and a bucket, and assigned a specific location in or around Christchurch to collect donations from passers by.

Street Collectors need to be able to:

  1. Collect for at least one hour on Friday 18 September or Saturday 19 September;
  2. Transport themselves to and from their assigned collection site;
  3. Return their collections to Aviva or a designated return site within one week of the Appeal;
  4. Deliver basic information on Aviva services (training and information sheets available upon request); and
  5. Be friendly and personable while representing Aviva.

We have collection sites available from Ashburton to Rangiora and all around Christchurch. Sites are available from 9am-6pm. (Riverside Market site available until 9pm).
